What data do we collect?
The only data we collect from individuals when they sign up is an email address. This is so that we can build a direct communication channel with users and inform people about content that we believe could be beneficial and in their best interested .
All users that sign up for Destination are automatically added to a weekly email newsletter. To do this, users email addresses will be uploaded to our third-party email provider Mailchimp. Users are free to unsubscribe from this at any time by using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. No other organisation has access to this information.
If you have signed up the Destination platform and you no longer wish to have an account, you can email us at destination@youthsocial.co.uk and we will remove you from the Destination database.

What data do we collect/track?
We use Google Analytics to analyse how many users access the site and what pages they engage with. All the data we collect is anonymised - this means that we cannot identify who has logged in and what pages they have accessed.
We do this so that we can see what information and opportunities are popular and we can use this information to improve the site and ensure that all content is as relevant for users as possible.
Additionally, we automatically gather certain information, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and browser and device characteristics, when you visit our Services. This information, which does not identify you personally (like your name or contact details), may include device and usage data, such as your IP address, browser type, device characteristics, operating system, language settings, referring URLs, device name, country, location, and details about how and when you use our Services, along with other technical information. Destination is managed by Fourteen 19 Social CIC t/a Youth Social. It is a social enterprise committed to improving the lives of young people. As a result we only collect minimal data and we do not track individuals across the platform.
By only asking for an email address, we are able to ensure that your anonymity is maintained.
We will not use your information for any purpose other than to promote beneficial information and opportunities that we believe are in your best interest.
We don't share or sell your information to partners or third parties.
